So why the strike through the word 'BLOG'? Well my home page gives a little more detail, but the strike through is just my little protest at the ever onward march of Internet jargon and multitudinous acronyms and abbreviations which are neither necessary nor attractive. There's basically no difference between a blog and a diary so why not call it a diary? Or at least a log? 'Log' has a slightly pleasanter ring to it than 'blog'.

There, I've made my protest. I'm neither powerful enough nor sufficiently bothered to make much more of it than that, so now we'll carry on with the blog.
